The first Saturday of conference play was a fun one. As usual, a conference road win is a tough thing to come by and this season has been no different. Home teams are now 7-1 in ACC conference play, only Duke's win at Boston College on Saturday has been the exception.
Clemson topped FSU in a high scoring shootout, go figure. Georgia Tech gave UNC all it could handle, but the Tar Heels scored on 11 of their final 12 possessions. NC State and Virginia Tech won in OT and once again, Cat Barber couldn't find enough help. Sometimes you gotta win ugly and Miami did just that to get past Syracuse. Duke continues to play with essentially a 6 man rotation and it worked out just fine at BC. Virginia beat Notre Dame by double-digits in a game that was never really that close.
Tonight, Louisville hosts Wake Forest in an intriguing matchup. Louisville will be without Trey Lewis as well, so keep an eye on that game.
