Sunday night's game was yet another example that a conference road win can be a slippery thing. Louisville was up 11 at half and seemingly had control of the game, but Devin Thomas and Wake Forest got back into the game and made it a close one. Thomas finished with 31 points and 11 rebounds, but it was Chris Jones who answered and Louisville who ultimately prevailed 85-76. After dishing out 8 first half assists (and scoring just 2 points), Jones picked up his scoring in the second half when Louisville needed it. Jones scored 20 points in the second half and finished with 22 points and 10 assists.
Tonight, UNC hosts Notre Dame (7 PM, ESPN) in conference action. Notre Dame is coming off a double OT win over Georgia Tech on Saturday, while UNC cruised past Clemson on Saturday evening. Game Sim is predicting a high scoring affair so it should be worth a watch.
