Wednesday night proved to be a night of upsets in college basketball. My own Game Sim picked just 33 of 48 games while Ken Pomeroy's predictor was even worse at 28/48 games picked correctly. In the ACC, Virginia, Duke, and Louisville all faced closed games but all prevailed.
NC State led in the second half, but Virginia ultimately wore down the Pack. Justise Winslow proved to be too much for a scrappy Wake Forest team. For the second straight game, it was Chris Jones who stepped up and scored 20 second half points for Louisville and led the Cardinals past Clemson. Rakeem Christmas made two big free throws to give Syracuse the win.
