Wednesday night featured 5 games in the ACC highlighted by Duke's incredible comeback win over North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Duke's Matt Jones was injured in the first half and the Blue Devils managed to fight and stay in the game with essentially 5 1/2 players. Brice Johnson was incredible for the first 28 minutes, scoring 27 points and grabbing 17 rebounds during that stretch, but had just 2 points and 2 boards in the final 12 minutes. Ultimately, Duke made the plays that UNC didn't down the stretch and Duke escaped with a 1 point victory.
FSU picked up a bad loss at home against Georgia Tech. Miami avoided a slow start and ended up taking care of business against Virginia Tech. Clemson opened things up in the second half after trailing BC at halftime. Louisville's defense proved to be too much for Syracuse as the Cardinals won by 14.
