ACC Morning Linkfest 3/24/2016 with Game Sim Predictions

The wait between the Second Round and Sweet 16 is always a long one.  Thankfully, college basketball is back tonight and the ACC has two games tonight.  Miami takes on Villanova at 7:10 PM and Duke takes on Oregon at 9:55 PM (that's optimistic).  Game Sim is predicting one point games in both, so we should be in for an intense night of basketball.

In the early game, Miami will need to limit Villanova's success from long range tonight if they have a chance.  The Canes also need "Good Angel" to show up once again.  Rodriguez has been great in tournament play so far averaging 26 points per game over the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

In the late game, #4 Duke takes on #1 Oregon which leads us to an interesting fact.

Despite the seeding, it's still hard for me to see Duke as the underdog in this one.  The Blue Devils matchup fairly well in this one as long as they continue to hit shots.  The good news is tired legs won't be a factor tonight, although if they advance that should be a concern on Saturday. 

On the court on Wednesday, Georgia Tech's run to the NIT championship ended in a quarterfinal loss to San Diego State.
