I went back and forth on the Video of the Day below. Do I highlight Miami's impressive 68-50 win at Notre Dame, or the Pack's dismal performance which ended in a game-winning shot to keep Boston College winless in conference play? I went for the former.
As I said, Miami's win at Notre Dame was noteworthy, especially when you consider the Canes did it without 6th man Ja'Quan Newton who is currently suspended. It goes to show the depth and experience that this team has. Also, when Angel Rodriguez plays well the Canes can beat anyone. Since Rodriguez has been at Miami, in 44 wins the point guard averages 12.9 points per game, just 9.9 in 17 losses. Its not just scoring. Check out the difference in wins and losses...
Angel Rodriguez - Splits Win/Loss

Boston College led their game against NC State most of the way which made it a soul piercing loss when Rowan's layup went down at the clock expired. The Eagles had Jerome Robinson and AJ Turner back on the court and it definitely made a difference. BC will have one more chance to win a conference game when they host Clemson on Saturday.
Virginia Tech picked up a home win over Pitt on Wednesday night as well. Pitt was coming off of a win over Duke where they made 8-20 3 point attempts. In Wednesday's loss to Virginia Tech, Pitt made just 3-20 from long range. The result has Pitt and Virginia Tech in a four way tie at 9-8 in the conference standings with Syracuse and Clemson.
No ACC action tonight, but a full slate nationally. Check out links and more below.
