With Tyus Battle, Oshae Brissett and Frank Howard all gone, Syracuse will be looking for Elijah Hughes to step up and become one of the leaders on the Orange. Hughes was one of the best 3-point shooters in the ACC last season, ranking fifth in the conference in 3-point field goal percentage and fourth in total made threes. He had five games where he hit five or more three-pointers. We might have seen a glimpse of what Elijah Hughes is capable of in Syracuse's 2019 NCAA Tournament game where he scored a career-high 25 points, while also grabbing three rebounds, dishing three assists and blocking two shots.
