ACC TV Shows That Could Complement the ACC Network and ACC Network Extra

Assuming Disney’s deal to acquire 21st Century Fox assets announced last month doesn’t violate antitrust laws, ESPN will be inheriting a massive amount of new content.  Fox Sports’ 22 regional networks, a number of cable channels that are broadcast to local subscribers across the country, will belong to ESPN.

Over the past month, I’ve watched the following ACC shows on the Fox Sports Atlantic channel:

  • Duke Basketball with Mike Krzyzewski
  • Florida State: Leonard Hamilton
  • N.C. State:  Wolfpack Hustle
  • Inside Notre Dame Basketball
  • Clemson Basketball with Brad Brownell
  • Clemson Football with Dabo Swinney
  • ACC All-Access

The first six shows I listed above are interviews with the head coaches of the respective head coaches that contain their observations of the teams they coach and their performances in games.  These shows are repeated at various times during the week so check your listings.

“ACC All-Access” is a weekly recap of ACC Sports that features interviews with coaches and players of the ACC teams, previews and recaps of games.  New shows tend to debut on Friday and run through Sunday.

It remains to be seen if these shows will be in rotation on the ACC Network Extra and/or the ACC Network when that debuts in 2019.  ESPN may choose to keep these shows on the regional networks.  In any case, these shows are well done and provide a lot of great information for ACC fans.

It would also be great if these shows were broadcast/simulcast on the coming XM Satellite ACC radio channel.
