Virginia Tech is deservedly the story of the week. Their win at Ohio State will end up being one of the best wins of the season.
With that said, we’re going to start our articles around the ACC Blogoshere with Virginia Tech. They earned it
Hokie blog Gobbler Country asks is this the dawn of a new era at Virginia Tech? It very well could be, only time will tell. It’s hard not to be optimistic if you’re a Virginia Tech. The defense looked every bit as good as it did in the mid-2000s, and qb Michael Brewer is tough as nails, who is only going to get better. Ohio State will have arguably the best defensive line the Hokies will see all year.
Louisville takes their top 25 team and travels to Virginia for their first ACC road game. CardChronicle looks at Bobby Petrino’s and Cardinal’s player Jamon Brown’s preview of Virginia. Keep on eye on this game. Two solid defenses will be battling in this one.
Clemson blog RubbingtheRock says there’s no QB controversy at Clemson. I’d agree there isn’t a QB controversy right now at Clemson, but there will be one soon. If Clemson loses at Florida State, even if Cole Stoudt plays well, people will already be looking at Deshaun Watson to start. It’s too bad for Stoudt, he’s really not bad, but Watson is clearly more talented.
What was the good, the bad, and ugly from UNC’s win against San Diego St.? That’s what Tar Heel Blog has for us. This is still a very dangerous team, but with that defense I don’t think they are capable of winning the coastal division.
Did you know the ACC went 11-0 this past weekend in football? Just how good a weekend was that? Well ACCPerscription says it was the best weekend in ACC history.
