Let's take a look at Clemson football.

Clemson
What can you say about Clemson that hasn’t been said? Dabo Swinney has built a monster of a program with no signs of slowing down. They enter each season on the short list of the national title contenders, and this year is no different. A 10 win 2014 was their worst season of the last half-decade. Frankly, that’s incredible. They are the current standard in the ACC. In fact, outside of Alabama, they are the current standard nationally too. Things are going that well for Clemson right now.
Will Go 12-0 (8-0) if:
Clemson can navigate a couple of road game landmines. The Tigers will be more talented than everyone they play, but games at Texas A&M and Florida State will be played in highly hostile environments. In particular the FSU can match-up fairly close to the Tigers talent.
The defensive line is college football’s best, and the Tigers have top-notch recruits all over the roster. If the QB position can be consistent with either Kelly Bryant or Trevor Lawrence, the Tigers could win their 2nd national title in the last three years.
Will Go 10-2 (6-2) if:
Whomever plays QB struggles. It doesn’t matter how good you are elsewhere, if you struggle at QB you are not unbeatable. Will Kelly Bryant still be confident after the Alabama debacle? Is Trevor Lawrence as good as advertised? FSU can beat Clemson at home. Texas A&M too, especially if the Tigers turn it over.
NC State has no fear of Clemson even in Death Valley. A game at Boston College will likely be no cake walk either. Clemson isn’t unbeatable. Even during their incredible last 5 years, there’s been losses to Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina. In will take a near perfect effort to beat Clemson, but it can be done.
