Cal vs. UNLV: The No. 24 UNLV Runnin' Rebels got the better of a banged-up Cal Golden Bears team at the Art of Sport LA Bowl, 24-13. Cal's 3rd-string quarterback, CJ Harris started the game but wasn't able to finish after leaving with an apparent imjury. Harris completed 13-20 passes for 109 yards while Jaydn Ott rushed the ball 11 times for 84 yards in the loss. Cal's lone touchdown came on an end around to freshman Josiah Martin, who made a handful of impressive plays in the game. Hajj-Malik Williams threw 2 touchdown passes for UNLV and Jacob De Jesus was huge for the Rebels on offense, finishing with 142 all-purpose yards with a touchdown in the win.
