Clemson vs. Virginia Tech: The #23 Tigers bounced back from last week's loss to Louisville with a 24-14 win over the Hokies. Clemson trailed 7-0 at halftime, and defense held the Virginia Tech to just 132 yards in the second half while the offense scored 24 unanswered points, until the final 2 minutes of the game. Quarterback Cade Klubnik led the Tigers' comeback and finished the game 16-34 for 211 yards and three touchdowns, to go with 30 rushing yards. Running back Phil Mafah had 26 carries for 128 yards. Tight end Jake Briningstool caught three passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. Briningstool's touchdown catch was the 113th reception of his career, the most ever by a Clemson tight end. Virginia Tech's first touchdown came on a 77-yard Quentin Reddish blocked field goal return.
