While speaking to the media at the 2024 ACC Basketball Tipoff, Georgia Tech Head Coach Damon Stoudamire spoke about how he believes that it is the smarter teams that win in college. In the NBA with playoffs being decided by a seven-game series, talent will win out, but in a one-game series, it is usually the smarter team who makes fewer mistakes who wins. He mentions how his team beat some of the elite teams in the ACC last year, but the Yellow Jackets will need to play smarter to win consistently.
