A solid week for Chris Mack continues.
Less than 48 hours after landing his first recruit from the 2019 class, Chris Mack added another body to his 2018-19 roster.
Khwan Fore, a grad transfer from Richmond who had previously committed to Tennessee, announced Saturday that he would be playing his final season of college basketball for Louisville.
An athletic, 6’0, 175-pound guard, Fore Averaged 11.0 points and 2.7 assists per game last season for a Richmond team that went 12-20. He was also being heavily courted by Auburn.
Fore isn’t going to kill it from the outside — he’s a career 31.9 percent 3-point shooter and hit only 27.5 percent from deep last year — but he can do this ...
So that’s cool.
None of his numbers are going to jump out at you, but with Fore you’re adding experience (he’s averaged 30+ minutes each of the past two seasons and has already appeared in nearly 100 college games), a physical defender who can help out significantly if you’re trying to press, and a pure athlete who can get to the rim.
You’re also adding another body for practice. The addition of Fore means Louisville is back up to having nine scholarship players for the upcoming season.
Welcome aboard, Khwan.
