After missing the final game of the regular season and all three of Louisville’s games in the ACC tournament, Cardinal sharpshooter Reyne Smith said Saturday night that he “absolutely” will be good to go for next week’s NCAA tournament.

Head coach Pat Kelsey echoed the sentiment during his postgame press conference.
“Yeah, Reyne is going to be ready to go for the NCAA tournament,” Kelsey said. “We’re excited to have him back next week.”
Smith has now missed four consecutive games since spraining his ankle during last Wednesday’s win over Cal. Those four games are the only ones Smith has been forced to miss in his four year college career.
Smith currently ranks third in the country in made three-pointers per game (3.53) and ninth in total made three-pointers (106). He is 17 made three-pointers away from breaking Louisville’s single-season record.
Winning three out of four without Reyne was impressive, but I think it was apparent in each game just how much better the offense works when he’s available. Rest up and get ready, my guy.
