The Miami Hurricanes won in overtime for the second straight game, 29-26 over Virginia. Miami running back Mark Fletcher Jr. ran the ball in from 11 yards out for the game-winning touchdown and had 47 yards rushing on 11 carries. Hurricanes RB Ajay Allen carried 11 times for 67 yards, including a sensational touchdown run where he hurdled a Virginia defender. Wide receiver Malik Washington caught 12 passes for 152 yards for the Cavaliers.
