Talking to the media at the 2023-24 ACC Tipoff, NC State head coach Kevin Keatts was informed that he has lost his leading scorer after each of the last 7 seasons. After jokingly responding by saying that it makes him want to cry, Keatts explained that going into the 2023-24 season, he has faith in players like Casey Morsell & D.J. Burns, Jr. to provide the needed scoring along with the newcomers who have joined the team.
