The North Carolina Tar Heels have gone back to the future as they head into the 2019 campaign lead by legendary head coach Mack Brown. Brown returns to North Carolina to rejuvenate the program and has chosen true freshman quarterback Sam Howell to help him usher in the new era. Howell will have plenty of help on offense with running backs Antonio Williams and Michael Carter along with dangerous wide receiver Dazz Newsome. The defense will look to improve led by defensive lineman Jason Strowbridge and safety Myles Dorn.
