According to a report on Irish Illustrated, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will begin their fall practice schedule on Wednesday, August 12.
This is interesting as it coms after both the Big 10 and the Pac-12 are postponing their fall seasons to the spring.
It's official. The Big Ten is postponing its fall season. No football this fall.

The ACC, which the Irish are full football members of for the 2020 season, is apparently trying to press forward with a fall schedule. The SEC and Big 12 are both attempting the same. The ACC, SEC, and Big 12 all have different approaches to how they are handling what to do about the fall — but it is a much more measured course of action than the Rose Bowl duo.
With two of the five power conferences postponing to the spring (along with the MAC and Mountain West from the Group of 5) it’s still going to be very interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks.
Notre Dame became the second favorite to win the ACC with odds at +600, just below Clemson according to Sports Betting Dime.
Notre Dame’s practices will be closed to the media, but there will be a Zoom press conference following each session.
