There's no vacation from Syracuse football Class of 2017 commitments.
Just because it's a holiday weekend that doesn't mean Syracuse Orange football verbal commits for the Class of 2017 can't keep coming. Today, it was Ohio linebacker/safety Kadeem Trotter.

The 6-foot-3, 196-pounder is rated three stars by Scout and Rivals while he got two stars from 24/7, who also rate him at the No. 133 safety in the Class of 2017 overall.
Trotter had offers from Iowa State, Bowling Green, Toledo and Ohio amongst others and might have had more had he not torn his MCL and missed most of last season.
He spoke with Syracuse.com more about why he chose SU.
"Really, I wanted to make this commitment right after the camp (on June 19)," Trotter said. "I really enjoyed myself there with the coaches and everything. There's a lot of great schools, but I realized there's a lot of great people at Syracuse."
Kadeem said that right now he doesn't see his commitment changing but admits "anything can happen" if he has a strong senior year. So, fingers crossed that he does have a good year but the SU coaches make sure he stays orange.
It should be noted that in the span of fifteen days, SU's Class of 2017 has gone from three verbals to thirteen. Get caught up in our FB recruiting hub.
