The two sides have yet to meet on the football field. The 2016 schedule now includes road trips to Stillwater and Clemson along with a visit from Penn State. 2017 sees Oklahoma State come to Heinz Field and the Panthers travel to State College.
Overall, Panther fans should be happy with this news. With the new college football playoff, strength of schedule will become more important when determining the playoff spots. The Cowboys have been a program on the rise after winning the Fiesta Bowl two years ago and will hopefully maintain their high level of play on the field for a few more years.
