Ryan Luther has missed the last three games for the Pitt basketball team with his foot injury but head coach Kevin Stallings says the big man could be back as early as the team’s next game. It’s a big one, too, as the Panthers will face No. 6 Miami.
Pitt coach Kevin Stallings seems to be a bit more optimistic on Ryan Luther's injury than he was a week ago. "We're hoping to have him for the Miami game. We're hoping. But he hasn't so much as shot a jump shot yet."

Obviously, no guarantees here and Stallings alludes to that. But that his return for that game is possible is encouraging news. At the time his injury (a stress reaction) was announced, a two-week time frame was pretty much a best case scenario and that’s right when that game will take place.
