According to StateOfTheU.com, Miami's Reggie Johnson suffered a season ending knee injury in their win over Illinois on Sunday. Here's more from StateOfTheU.com.
In a heart-breaking turn of events Reggie Johnson injured his knee, reportedly in the last game against Illinois. Johnson underwent surgery yesterday.
Sources close to Johnson say that the scope of the injury was minor compared to the torn meniscus he sustained before 2011-2012 season and that a full recovery is expected.
In Johnson's absence, look for Tonye Jekiri to see more time backing up Justin Gamble. Also, I would be surprised to see more of the Miami four guard lineup including Rion Brown.
