Luther's status for Saturday's game is still up in the air.
Ryan Luther has been out of action for about two weeks with a foot injury. He was expected to be out for at least two weeks and his status for Pitt’s game against Miami is still unclear. From Trib’s Jerry DiPaola:
Kevin Stallings addressed Ryan Luther's foot injury today. The pain is subsiding and he is shooting. Doctors re-evaluated Luther, but his availability Saturday vs. Miami is unclear. "I'm not ready to say he'll be available, but I'm not ready to say he won't be." -- Stallings

The shooting thing is encouraging. As of about a week ago, Luther still hadn’t been even doing that.
We’ll see, I suppose. Even if he’s able to go, you have to wonder what kind of shape he’ll be in not having played in about two weeks. But if he’s out there and can at least help on the rebounding end, that will benefit the team.
