One: 2013 is over.
Two: Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has yet to take a snap however a stale quarterback has to improve an offense that yielded 22 point a game.
Three: Three of the first four games are at home and the teams at home resemble the competition typically seen in a Clemson Basketball schedule before Christmas. The Pack should be 4-0 heading into their game with Florida State on September 27
Four: Only four of the Wolfpack’s conference games are on the road this year and despite what any other analyst says Carter Findley Stadium will be a challenge for every team except defending national champion Florida State.
Five: NC State plays Georgia Tech later in the year where injuries typically mount up for Paul Johnson’s Yellow Jackets.
Six: The Wolfpack’s schedules sets up for at least six wins this season which would make them eligible for post season play. This is very important considering Dave Doeren needs some momentum with recruiting.
Seven: The North Carolina game is last game of the season on Thanksgiving weekend. This game could have implications within the ACC and the bowl picture.
NC State’s schedule sets up nicely for Dave Doeren to build some momentum heading into the 2015 signing period and to lure some of the better players in North Carolina to land with the Pack.
