Running back Brashard Smith carried the ball 17 times for 129 yards and a touchdown and caught 3 passes for 50 yards. Mustangs TE RJ Maryland caught 3 passes for 30 yards, including 2 touchdowns. For Florida State, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei threw for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns, but also threw 3 interceptions in the loss.
