For most of the summer, Adrian Autry and the Syracuse Orange sat with 11 scholarship players on the roster: five returners, four transfers, and two incoming freshman.
Today, Autry added a third rookie to his team: 6'9" Serbian Petar Majstorovic.

Petar recently played in the French ProA U-21 league for ASVEL Basket Lyon-Villeurbanne. In 34 games, he averaged 9.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists while playing 23.6 minutes. His respective career highs are 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Majstorovic will join the Orange this fall after signing his National Letter of Intent. He's an interesting prospect to develop, as SU lacks a committed big for their 2025-26 campaign. For now, he'll be behind Eddie Lampkin and Naheem McLeod on the depth chart.
The 19-year-old has also played forward and could find his way into the rotation behind Donnie Freeman, Chris Bell and Jyare Davis.
The Orange have one remaining scholarship, though in all likelihood it will be awarded to one of the walk-ons.
Welcome to 'Cuse Petar!
