The Syracuse Orange football program announced Wednesday their 2014 non-conference schedule, which includes Villanova, Maryland, Central Michigan and a Met Life Stadium showdown versus Notre Dame.
We already knew about the Terrapins and the Fighting Irish, but the additions of the Wildcats and Chippewas complete the non-conference slate that, at first glace, looks challenging.
The Syrcuase Orange will kickoff their season with a home game against Villanova on Aug. 30. The Carrier Dome will also host Maryland on Sept. 20, while Syracuse will visit Central Michigan (Sept. 13) and the Meadowlands on Sept. 27th.
Other home games will feature ACC contests for Syracuse against Duke, Florida State, Louisville and North Carolina State -- which is a very challenging slate.
Here's a composite look at what Syracuse will face in 2014:

Sept: 20: Vs. Maryland
