Duke and Syracuse are both in the running for the 2018 forward.
Class of 2018 four-star prospect Cole Swider will announce his college decision this Friday, according to his high school head coach Michael Hart.
Swider, who has been considering the Syracuse Orange for much of his recruitment, will decide between SU, Duke, Xavier and Villanova.
@coleswider21 college commitment announcement will be held in Sage Gym @standrewsri on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3:30pm.

Swider took an official visit to Syracuse on June 18-20, which was followed by an official visit to Duke (June 23-24) and Xavier (June 26-27).
He never took an official visit to Villanova.
Xavier and Syracuse have been involved with Swider the longest of the remaining teams, and Xavier has gradually picked up momentum throughout his recruitment.
After Swider’s impressive spring on the AAU circuit, teams began to take notice — including Duke, which is when they began showing interest and eventually offered a scholarship. Swider, who was down to six schools at the time, trimmed his list to four and included the Blue Devils.
Cole has been on SU’s campus multiple times, including an Elite camp visit last August where he received his official offer from the Orange.
Duke currently holds 89 percent of the 247Sports Crystal Ball votes. Syracuse doesn’t have any votes (that said, those votes rarely hold much water, except in obvious commitment situations).
Swider has been in the discussion as the most efficient shooter in the 2018 class, as he shot over 40 percent from behind the arc on the EYBL circuit earlier this spring.
