The UNC Tar Heels put together two impressive wins in the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and will now face off with the No. 4 seeded UCLA Bruins in Philadelphia for a shot at advancing to the Elite Eight. In game one vs. Marquette, Brady Manek, Caleb Love, and Armando Bacot led the way as the Heels ran away with the 95-63 win. Game two against the defending champion Baylor Bears appeared to be headed in the same direction as UNC had built a 25-point lead before Manek was ejected and the Bears rallied to force overtime. RJ Davis, Bacot, Leaky Black, Justin McCoy, and Dontrez Styles came together to pull off the upset in the extra period.
