Illinois vs. Virginia: The No. 16 Virginia Cavaliers played inspired basketball and won a hard-fought game against No. 19 Illinois, 70-61 to win the Continental Tire Main Event Championship. Kihei Clark got things started, scoring the Wahoos first 7 points, but it was Reece Beekman who had the big 2nd half to help the Cavs to the win. Beekman scored 13 of his 17 points after the break, and came up with clutch baskets when the game was tight. The Cavaliers' defense scored 19 points off of turnovers in the win.
