Playing on a neutral floor, Florida State's Jamir Watkins had a big game and led the Seminoles to a win over Rice. Watkins scored a game-high 30 points on 7-14 shooting from the floor, including 2-4 from three-point range, and he went 14-22 from the free throw line. Wakins also rounded out his game with six rebounds, three steals, an assist, and blocked a shot.
