The Eagles got back on the winning side of things in the most improbable of events as they defeated the 'Noles 77-76. Boston College capped off a second half that saw them get down as much as fifteen, only to go on an indescribable 15-6 run down the stretch. The game ended with a wild sequence of events started by Chad Venning's layup to cut it to a 76-74 FSU lead. The 'Noles botched the inbounds pass that was stolen by Chas Kelley III who scored his biggest bucket of the night on a 3 pointer that put the Eagles ahead for good and sealed the win. Donald Hand Jr. led all scorers with 31 points and 9 rebounds for BC. Fred Payne added 14 points and 5 rebounds for the Eagles. Jamir Watkins and Malique Ewin combined for 37 points and 16 rebounds for the Seminoles.
