The Seminoles outbattled the Hurricanes for a 74-66 victory. With the game tied at halftime, FSU shot 51.9% in the second half compared to only 39.4% for Miami. Malique Ewin scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed five rebounds for Florida State. Jamir Watkins had 16 points and eight rebounds. Chandler Jackson added 11 points. Both Matthew Cleveland and Lynn Kidd each scored 14 points to lead Miami. Kidd also had 11 rebounds for the double-double.
