UNC didn't shoot very well in their 73-64 win over Miami, but when you get offensive rebounds it doesn't always matter. UNC certainly did that, as they posted an offensive rebound percentage of 53 in the win. UNC did it on the defensive end as well holding Miami under 40% shooting and forcing a 20% turnover rate from the Canes.
in the other matchup, Wake Forest got a home conference win defeating Georgia Tech 59-50. Travis McKie bounced back after struggling for the past few weeks on the offensive end. McKie finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds and most importantly McKie got to the free throw line making 9 of 10 attempts.
Tonight, we have 3 ACC matchups as FSU hosts Virginia Tech, NC State plays at Duke, and Boston College plays at Maryland. FSU lost at Virginia Tech not too long ago, so the Seminoles shouldn't have any problem with energy level tonight. Duke and NC State is always a passionate game, especially among Triangle fans, but expect a good one tonight. It's well known that NC State is looking for a big win, so I expect the Pack to play well.
