Cameron Johnson suffered a knee injury on Tuesday, delaying his Tar Heel debut even more.
Just as the Tar Heels were getting ready to get Joel Berry back, they suffered another blow. Graduate transfer forward Cameron Johnson tore his meniscus in practice on Tuesday.
The University announced the news just hours before Wednesday’s tipoff against Bucknell in the Dean Dome.
Johnson, a grad transfer from Pittsburgh, missed the first game against Northern Iowa with a neck injury.
He was expected to play against Bucknell, but he will now miss the game. Johnson will have surgery to repair the knee on Wednesday.
