Practice is underway and the season is a little over a month from starting. Here is this week's news items.
-Late Night With Roy details have been announced. Former Tar Heel and current TNT NBA analyst Kenny Smith will emcee the October 23rd event. Doors open at 6:30 PM with festivities starting at 7:30 PM, Admission is free.
-Joel James spent his summer working with various former Tar Heel big men including Eric Montross, Brendan Haywood and Sean May. James hopes to improve his overall play around the basket as well as his rebounding.
-Draft Express has an excellent scouting video for Justin Jackson. These features are highly informative not to mention in-depth.
-UNC will hold its media day on Monday, October 12th where we will hear from Roy Williams and the returning players for the first time.
