Video footage from the annual UNC alumni game in the Dean Dome featuring former and current players.
Luke Maye did it again.
It may not have been as big of a stage as the Elite 8 contest against Kentucky last March, but Maye once again hit a big shot for the North Carolina Tar Heels.
We heard some rumblings about the players participating in the annual current Tar Heels vs. alumni game taking place last week in the Dean Dome and now we have video.
Apparently Maye hit the game-winning shot to help lead the current squad past a team full of former Tar Heels just days ago.
Check out Maye’s shot:

The game is played every year as part of the Roy Williams Carolina Basketball Camp. Each year, former players come back to help teach at the camp along with current players.

As you can see in the video, the campers reacted to Maye’s shot much like we all did when he drained the game-winner against the Wildcats.
Maye is returning to UNC for his junior year on a team that welcomes back Joel Berry, Theo Pinson, Kenny Williams, Brandon Robinson and Seventh Woods who all played key minutes for the Tar Heels.
They also welcome incoming freshman Jalek Felton, Sterling Manley, Brandon Huffman, Andrew Platek and Garrison Brooks as they look to defend their national championship.
