After grabbing an East Carolina transfer this weekend, Virginia will be losing another.
Redshirt freshman Nick Johns has been granted a release from Virginia, as he made his announcement early Wednesday morning.
Johns was part of the 2015 recruiting class when Mike London was the head coach of the Cavaliers. He sat out all last fall and will be looking to head to another university.
He is a 6’4, 220 pound prospect that was ranked as a 3-star prospect by 247sports.com and held offers from Maryland and NC State at the time being. He is from Washington D.C.
I am going to miss my brothers and The University of Virginia. Good luck to all of them. pic.twitter.com/q4WLVzWTaz
