Running Back Marshawn Williams lost for the season.
It was confirmed on Monday's press conference that redshirt sophomore running back Marshawn Williams will miss the rest of the season due to an injury.
Williams had rushed for 59 times, 244 yards, and two touchdowns on the season.
The young running back has already had two injuries to his ACL in his career at Virginia Tech.
He played in nine games this season, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. Before 2016, Williams saw action in 2014, rushing for 475 yards and four touchdowns before being injured and missing the entire 2015 season.
