The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will be looking to win its 4th-straight bowl game this season under head coach Dave Clawson. Wake returns 14 starters from last season and will be led by the freshly appointed starting quarterback, Jamie Newman. The Demon Deacons will be dangerous at the skill positions, as 1,000-yard running back Cade Carney returns. The receiving corps is led by wide receiver Sage Surratt. Linebacker Justin Strnad is looking to take Wake's defense to the next level. He will have help by way of defensive end Carlos Basham Jr. and defensive backs Amari Henderson and Essang Bassey.
