The 5th-seeded Wake Forest Demon Deacons played a solid all-around game and came away with a 72-59 win over the 12th-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish at the 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. Four players scored in double figures for Wake, led by Kevin "Boopie" Miller's 17 points on 6-12 shooting. Andrew Carr added 12 points and 11 rebounds for Steve Forbes' club. The Deacs played lock-down defense, holding the dynamic scoring freshmen duo of Markus Burton and Braeden Shrewsberry to 5-25 shooting, including 2-12 from deep.
