Have you seen the Las Vegas predicted win totals for all 130 FBS College Football Teams from CBSSPortsline.com? Here are the ACC win totals. Which ACC teams will beat those predictions?
In June, these are my initial feelings who does and who doesn’t.
- Clemson: 9.5 (Over -110, Under -110)
Clemson isn’t losing 3 games, not with best defensive line in the country. (OVER)
- Florida State: 9.5 (Over -110, Under -110)
As good as Jimbo Fisher is QBs, and he’s got Deondre Francois coming back at QB. (OVER)
- Louisville: 9.5 (Over EVEN, Under -120)
Until I see some improvement from that offensive line, I could see a 9-3 type season from Louisville – not worse. Slight lean to (UNDER)
- Miami: 9 (Over -120, Under EVEN)
This sounds like a push to me. New QB, buts lots of offensive weapons. (PUSH)
- Virginia Tech: 8.5 (Over -115, Under -105)
If Virginia Tech beats West Virginia, I like their chances to win 9+ games. I think they’ll beat WVU. (OVER)
- North Carolina: 7 (Over -110, Under -110)
UNC takes a step back, but they’ll hit the 7. (PUSH)
- NC State: 6.5 (Over -120, Under EVEN)
If NC State doesn’t beat 6.5 wins, Dave Doeren is back on the hot seat. It his most complete team yet. (OVER)
- Pittsburgh: 6.5 (Over -120, Under EVEN)
Pat Narduzzi is too good a coach to let Pitt fall below the 6.5 wins. (OVER)
- Georgia Tech: 6 (Over -110, Under -110)
Paul Johnson has won more than 6 games 7 out of 9 years he’s been at Georgia Tech. (OVER)
- Virginia: 5.5 (Over -110, Under -110)
Virginia is investing in football facilities and Bronco can coach, but the Cavs are still a couple of years away. (UNDER)
- Wake Forest: 5.5 (Over EVEN, Under -120)
Dave Clawson worked wonders last year, but the schedule is brutal. (UNDER)
- Duke: 4.5 (Over EVEN, Under -120)
David Cutcliffe isn’t letting Duke have back to back sub 5 win seasons. (OVER)
- Boston College: 4 (Over -120, Under EVEN)
I think BC finds a way to scratch out 5 or 6 wins. (OVER)
- Syracuse: 4 (Over -110, Under -110)
The Cuse have a soft opening to the schedule. Dino Babers and QB Eric Dungey can get Syracuse to a bowl (OVER)
