Boston College received some good news on Thursday in a big-time target for the Eagles.
Caleb Stoneburner, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound wide receiver from Dublin Coffman High School in Ohio announced over social media that he would be heading to Boston College.
The Eagles offered the young man just weeks ago on June 15 and held double-digit offers that included ones from Air Force, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Cornell. Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Ken State, Marshall, Ohio, Toledo, and Yale.
On Thursday, he announced on Twitter, saying:
“First off I’d like to thank my family and everyone who helped me through the recruiting process! I’d also like to thank all the coaches that believe in me and recruited me to their schools. It’s been a huge dream of mine to play D1 football all my life! With that being said I have decided to commit to Boston College! Go Eagles!”
With his size, Stoneburner could easily be used as a tight end, which 247Sports reports he is being recruited as.
