Just a quick post this morning. Syracuse lost 73-59 to Cal in Madison Square Garden, and while its easy to say they're young it was the veterans that struggled. Kaleb Joseph and Chris McCullough made 10-18 shots while, the other 3 starters were a combined 8-27. Boston College was at the other end of the spectrum as they were impressive with their opening round win over New Mexico in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. Miami started slow but Angel Rodriguez had his second straight big game and the Canes defeated Drexel in the Charleston Classic. NC State took care of Jacksonville at home thanks to an impressive defensive effort from Beejay Anya and a balanced scoring attack.
In football, UNC laid an absolutely pounding on Duke and took back the Victory Bell.
