Last night, Duke defeated Georgia Tech 73-57, but the 16 point win wasn't decided until the second half. At halftime, Georgia Tech led Duke by 1 point. The Yellow Jackets were controlling the boards and forced Duke into 2 point shots and the Blue Devils struggled. The Duke defense forced enough turnovers to keep them in the game though. In the second half, Duke started the half on a 16-3 run behind 4 field goals from Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry's three point shots. Duke never looked back after that and the Blue Devils cruised to the win.
For the second straight game, Amile Jefferson showed he is the Blue Devils answer while Ryan Kelly is out. Jefferson finished with 6 points and 10 rebounds in the victory and the Blue Devils as a team were much better with him on the court. Rasheed Sulaimon also bounced back with a solid game 15 points on 5-8 shooting (3-4 3PT).
