I said it before the Duke/Miami game on Monday night and it was confirmed during the game. This was a terrible matchup for Duke, and a great one for Miami. The Hurricanes came away with an 80-69 victory over the Blue Devils and for a good part of the night it seems like men against boys. The experienced Canes had their way with Duke, and even though the Blue Devils showed some fight they simply couldn't throw punches like Miami could.
On top of everything Duke expected to be thrown at them, Good Angel showed up for Miami as well. Angel Rodriguez was fantastic scoring 13 points and dishing out 11 assists against just one turnover. Sheldon McClellan led the scoring attack with 21 points while Ja'Quan Newton added 15 points, 5 assists, and 5 boards.
Duke was led by Brandon Ingram who scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss. The good news for Duke is they have a few days to recover before returning to action on Saturday against Georgia Tech a week from today.
Tonight, we have two games on the schedule as Virginia travels to Wake Forest and Boston College hosts FSU. Check out links, predictions, previews, and more below.
