Clemson and FSU both find themselves on the proverbial bubble and both picked up crucial wins on Sunday. Clemson had the tougher game as Maryland forced two overtimes before the Tigers could come away as 77-73 winners. KJ McDaniels was brilliant once again, finishing with 26 points, 14 rebounds, 6 blocks, and 3 assists. Clemson moves to 9-7 in conference play, and 18-10 overall. FSU cruised past Georgia Tech for an 81-71 victory, behind balanced scoring, 4 players with at least 15 points, and great free throw shooting, where the Noles made 31 of 37 free throw attempts. The Seminoles are now 8-8 in conference play and 17-11 overall.
So, how much did the wins help FSU and Clemson. The latest NCAAGameSim.com rankings have FSU at 43 and Clemson at 57. Here are the full ACC power rankings from NCAAGameSim.com.
