But then again aren’t we all?

Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey served up an update on star point guard Chucky Hepburn during the coach’s pre-Miami press conference Friday morning.
Kelsey said that Hepburn, who suffered a groin injury during the second half of Louisville’s Wednesday night win over Boston College, is “day-to-day” and that he wasn’t sure whether or not Hepburn would play in Saturday’s game against Miami.
“Seeing how he responds today and tomorrow with some rest and and treatment and we’ll go from there,” Kelsey said. “We’ll be smart, obviously, about what we do. It’s about getting him to the jump circle healthy, so that’s that’s the focus of the next two days. If he’s able to go.”
Hepburn leads Louisville in scoring at 15.0 ppg. His 6.2 assists per game average is second-best in the ACC, and he leads the league in steals per game at 2.35.
“We have a next man up mentality,” Kelsey said. “Injuries occur throughout the course of the season. Obviously, we’ve had our fair share of those throughout the course of the year. Our guys have never, nor will ever blink an eye. It’s just next man up and a lot of guys step up when injuries occur.”
Louisville hosts Miami at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
