Louisville landed its second Under Armour All-American from the 2018 class when four-star cornerback Chandler Jones committed to the Cardinals Thursday night.

Jones joins teammate Robert Hicks (LB) in being a future Card who will first play in the Under Armour game. He chose Louisville over South Carolina, Mississippi State, Utah and Kentucky, among others.
"It was the correct fit for my talents and abilities, as mentioned before in my check list of must haves,” Jones told Scout.com. “The whole environment in Louisville was very chill and I loved that. I honestly could just see me spending the next four years of my life there. The coaches also played a huge role in my decision. They show genuine love for me and my playing style."
Jones, a 5’10, 170-pound player out of Miami Central High School, is rated as the No. 29 cornerback in the class of 2018 according to Rivals. He has already stated that he plans on enrolling early at U of L in January. Jones becomes the 13th member of Louisville’s 2018 class, and the third four-star.
